Input is capped at 5 MiB for both pasted text and files, and the table at 100,000 cells (columns × rows). Exceeding either is an error and nothing is converted. The JSON side accepts only normalized Table JSON version 1 (caption / header / alignments / rows) — an arbitrary JSON array cannot be converted.
