How to use

1. Choose a direction

   Choose the direction between KMZ and GeoJSON or CSV/TSV.

2. Enter input

   Load KMZ from a file. Paste or choose a file for the other formats.

3. Use the result

   Review warnings and download binary results such as KMZ.

Scope of the result

KMZ must be a ZIP with one primary KML. ZIP64, encryption, asset repackaging, and non-WGS84 CRS are unsupported.

Frequently asked questions

Which KMZ files can be read?

The archive must contain exactly one primary KML. Multiple KML files or no KML is an error.

Are images inside KMZ included?

The KML is converted, but images, styles, and overlays are warned about and dropped.

Are compressed KMZ files supported?

Ordinary store and deflate ZIP files are supported. Encrypted and ZIP64 archives are not.
